The movie also shows Jim’s interest in literature, including the name of the band was inspired in the book “The Doors of Perception” by Aldous Huxley.
It is a good summary of the story of Jim Morrison and The Doors. He goes beyond his limits living life to the fullest, which typifies the construction of a myth like him. Val Kilmer totally incorporated the personality of Jim Morrison, he played his part really well. Meg Ryan was also excellent as Pamela Courson in the movie.
